M235i @ Dealer

I stopped by my dealer today knowing that their M235 had been delivered over the weekend. I have a few pics that I took but seeing as my M235 will be delivered early next week I will not be driving this or reviewing, however there are some things that I noticed that I feel are worth pointing out.

Badges- I always thought that the M badges on the fenders were bad looking and needed to be removed but after seeing them in person it looked like at least to me that the badges not just on the fenders but the M235i badge as well are smaller than other BMW models which I think looked really good.

Wheels- The dark grey wheels looked awesome in person against EBII and I felt that it did not clash with the mirrors, the wheels did seem a bit small when standing right next to them but when I backed up a few feet they looked much better. Also on the note of the wheels looking small it was still in transport mode when I took the photos so I assume it will drop a few mm making it look better.

Interior- The interior seemed much like a cockpit feel which I liked, everything seems tight and snug to the driver in a good way. This car had the hex trim with the EB strip, the trim didn't seem any cheaper or better than my 2014 F30 335, I thought that the EB strip worked very well with the interior and its not nearly as bright and flashy as it shows in the configurator. Also I noticed that it tells you what the battery percent is at when you open the door, not sure if that is new but it was something I thought was pretty nice. The last thing I noticed was that there are knee pads for the driver which is not new or huge but I was hoping to have them. The leather was just your standard Dakota nothing special about it. The back seats I did not have a chance to sit in but it looked like an adult could sit back there for a while if they had to. as for the driver seating position I'm 6' and I had no problem sitting comfortably with plenty of headroom.

All in all it looks like an awesome car and I would say with exterior especially pics just wont cut it, if you get the chance its worth seeing in person trust me, that back end and diffuser not many people seem to like looks much more flush and pulled together in person. Can't wait to drive mine next week and see how she feels on the road

Few mm are not going to help that gap. Love everything else about the car but the wheels just look tiny. Not sure why BMW did this. Looks like they are making room for that M2 with treatments like this.

Thanks for the pics! What color are you getting inside and out…plus trim/strip? Excited to hear your review when you finally get yours!

The reason it shows battery percentage is because that car hasn't been through PDI yet. After the tech flashes over the transport software, that goes away. It will not show batter percentage after that.
