225/40/18 on Staggered OEM Wheels ?

Hello Guys

i'm debating a winter setup for my M235i with Staggered Wheels , it OK to put 225/40/18 all around , even on the Wider Rear OEM Rims ?

OEM rims are the 461M ( we have them here in Canada for the M235i in Ferric gray )

Thank you

Should be fine. Michelin says the ideal width for 225/40/18 is 8 inch wheel.

I'm running 225/40/18 on 8" wide wheels all round as my winter set up.

No issue.

What are the possible changes in handling by going to 225/40/18 on the rear in stead of 245/35/18? Any under/oversteering?

Doing simple math shows that 225/40 will be have additional 5mm in the sidewall compared to 245/35 tire.
I am thinking about the same approach...
