New member, 220i
Hi all!
I am new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself and post some pictures of my 220i that I've had for a little over a week now. This is my third BMW, my first car was an '04 Z4 2,5i a wonderful car that I loved. For some reason I traded it in for a smart ForTwo (don't ask, stupidest thing I have ever done), then I leased a 2011 118d for three years. After that I got a car I always wanted, a MINI Cooper S '08, so much fun to drive. I thought I was going to keep that car for several years, but my dad wanted med to take over his lease on a 120xd when he got his new car, 428xi gran coupe. I really liked the 120xd, but it didn't really excite me the same way the MCS did. Anyways the dealership had already promised that car away to someone else so I could not take over the lease and was left with no car. I looked at the new MINI Cooper S, but they didn't have one, so I would have to order one and wait for 2 months, which was not that practical since I study 8 hours away in Bergen. Then I started to look at the cars they had on the lot, 1-series with almost no equipment, X1's and a 3-series. Then the 2-series on the showroom floor caught my eye. I had never seen one in the flesh before and absolutely fell in love! So we signed the lease and I could pick it up within 2 days. What a terrific car, I can't get enough of it! Drove it for 8 hours form Oslo to Bergen on twisty mountain roads and I was amazed with the grip and even the power delivery from the 4 cylinder. I know most of you guys have the awesome m235i's and mine isn't as prestigious, but I hope I still will be fully accepted on the forum Here are some pictures of my baby: |

Your interior is like a Unicorn here. It doesn't exist. I LOVE it, and really regret the fact that BMW USA thinks Americans will only sit on dead cows.
Congrats on the car. It looks awesome! |

Welcome and congratulations on your new beautiful BMW! I love the silver exterior and the comfortable looking cloth interior! I wish that interior was offered in the USA.

Looks really awesome! Congrats!! My dad has the M235I and it goes really good, fun little car! My lease runs out on my Audi A4 soon so it might get a 220 for me too.
Are you satisfied with your 220I? |

It is without any doubt the best car I have ever owned and one of the best I've driven (though I have not driven loads of cars), the only better handling one I've driven was a cayman S. You should defiantly get it Try to get it with variable sports steering, lots of fun on scandinavian roads
