Paint code for front lip m235i vert, Alpine White

Hello,

I need to touch up a scruff my wife put on the front of the lower lip. It is a dark grey color, contrasting the white exterior. Looks like wheel code is shadow chrome.

Anyone know what this trim color is? Same as the back diffuser.

thx

Try your driver's side doorjamb, below the tire sticker. My Estoril Blue car's paint code is 'B45', as shown in this image:

Do you have a photo? Are you sure it's a painted part and not mold-in-color?

Is the area that is scuffed essentially the same color where the surface was scraped off, even if not as glossy? Or, is the material underneath a different color at all?

If that's OEM it comes flat black, if it's painted that was done at a later date and not by BMW.

interesting

Very interesting. It is a silver metallic paint, similar to the wheels, with maybe just a touch more blue in there.

I had no idea everyone else's was black. Will keep an eye out for a mineral white 2015 to confirm.

On the PPI BMW printed history there was a replacement of the rear diffuser area (also same color) due to a curb incident per the service advisor. It was fixed at the dealer. If they painted, they may have sprayed the front and back.

Will keep my eye out for another white 2015 m235i to see.

Thanks for the heads up.

If it's the same color as the stock rear diffuser call IND they know the paint code. They do reflectors that color all the time.

If you've got aftermarket or M Perf rear it was likely custom painted the same as your front, in which case not much help unfortunately.

EDIT: The stock diffuser grey is "Dark Shadow Metallic (Diffuser Grey)"
