What does "In certain cases, Head-up display (610) is also included" mean?

That section of the changes document isn't 2er specific. It means that in some cases (aka on some models), ZDA also includes the head-up display. The 2er doesn't have a head-up display, so the 2er is not one of those models.

Bummer, that's what I was afraid of, but thanks for clarifying. It's the one thing I really wanted on my next car.

The pricing guide only lists factory/port-installed accessories. LSD is still available, but it has to be installed at the dealership (like other cosmetic bits). I think this was the case for 2017 as well.

Do we have to wait until July 1 to place an order for a 2018 m240i? I went to the dealership last Sunday and they said I had to build a 2017. My gut said to wait so I left.

I reached out to a few dealerships, and no one has allocations yet. Disappointingly, almost none of them had ETAs either. My guess is July. A few dealerships were willing to start negotiating on price, and then I could secure the first allocation when it's available.

And FWIW, you can't order a 2017 anyway, as they're switching over production to the 2018s.

Thank you, AbuQutaita. I'm shopping around in the LA area and only one dealership has responded to my inquiry about my 2018 build (msrp $52,970) so far. They said they can do $2K off.
They also said, "If you order a 2017, it'll likely turn into a 2018." It seems they don't have the software or interface to order the 2018 yet. But I want to make sure I check the box for jet black wheels. haha.
Hopefully, we'll find out more info soon.

I'm looking to purchase a 230i, and looked at the available 2017 models in the DC area, but nothing they have is even close to what I want. It seems that 90% of them have the xdrive, 100% are automatic, and 75% have black interiors.

I'm looking for M-sport coupe (without the moonroof), leather, Premium pkg, etc. which adds up to around $46K. The packages & options seem fairly clear, but not sure about the wheels/tires. If the dealer will take $2K off, would I also be able to get another $2K off with the USAA discount?

Dealer taking $2k off should be before incentives. So as long as you're not doing ED or something else that is not allowed with Fleet discount (USAA basically counts as a more-general fleet discount) and you qualify for USAA you should be able to get $4k off total.

I didn't come up with the same MSRP for this build, but it's close. It should add up to $50,720. Either way, $3k off is the difference between MSRP and invoice, so that's not too unreasonable. And regarding the doc fee, anything more than $80 is deceptive. I'd probably walk away from any dealership that tries to pull something like that.

And for the future, it might be better to post price questions here.

Not sure what world you live in where doc fees are 80 dollars, but around here literally every dealership, big or small, has a $250-$800 doc fee.

Of course it's scummy, they call them stealerships for a reason. You get 2k off the invoice, great, you think they aren't still making mad cash off your transaction? There's no such thing as a "good deal" when it comes to buying a car from a dealer. There's only "getting screwed the least"

Hi.

I ordered my alpine white/coral red manual transmission 2018 M240i today.

-driving assistance pkg
-premium pkg
-jet black wheels with runflats
-park distance control
-HK sound
-apple car play
-wireless charging
$51975 plus destination. This Sonic dealership matched the $2K discount that the other dealership offered.

Production doesn't start until 8/31. Now I just wait.

In California, doc fee is capped at $80 by law. I went with my mom to get her a Lexus NX200t on Saturday, first offer had an $80 doc fee even though the MF was 3x the base!!
