Just not sure how the q3 holds so well when the m235 is lighter, more powerful, and quicker on paper?

Audi usually underrates their motors way lower than advertised number. That thing could actually put close to 350HP at the crank. My S6 is advertised at 420HP but many people have run the dyno and actual number is running from 460HP and beyond.
