Porsche offers spacers as an option...although they are small like 3-5mm.

And that's exactly what the color looks like in person. Long Beach Blue is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me...

BMW should have called it Santa Fe Teal instead

What a weak, limp launch color for an M car. It simply deserves better.

I personally don't care too much for the color. A little wild for me. But I wouldn't judge it based on a 240p cell picture. I'm sure it will look at least decent in person. Mineral Gray is the front runner for me, though.

I've seen LBB on an X6M at the Los Angeles auto show. I didn't like it there under those lights and here in the sunlight I see another facet of the color which is even less flattering in my opinion.

I'm sure some will like it, but to me this color is really just no good.

It's begging for a CF lip, but just as importantly, wider wheels. That M2 looks really wide, but the rear wheels look so skinny in comparison. Nothing 11" wide wheels with 295s can't fix

Well technically, the car hasn't been launched yet. If you look at the M4, what teasers were there before they released that yellow concept car?

As for this car, it's begging for a CF lip, but just as importantly, wider wheels. That M2 looks really wide, but the rear wheels look so skinny in comparison. Nothing 11" wide wheels with 295s can't fix
Yep, just basing that on what I have read (as most/all of us have done for practically every aspect of the details of this car). I completely agree it could use some wider rear wheels, at least from that most recent shot. I will probably try spacers first and see what happens.

Almost there!! Take it off!!

While personally I would not opt for LBB, I disagree with some.
To me it is as much as an, in your face proper eye catching launch color as VO.

That color looks great. Wish it was available on the 228i. I mean, I love my Valencia orange but that blue would've been rad.

Why are they whiners? Because they don't agree with you?

That's a terrible colour! Mineral grey is gonna look very moody and mean on this car.

Nice to see slightly less camo for once though!
