We decided to drive up instead of flying. We've done this drive many times and have enjoyed it and gives us time to talk. Her father is completely devastated so we may encourage him to move near us as he will be all alone in Glens Falls NY.

So sorry to hear this. My dad was diagnosed stage 4 they gave him 6 months he lived 13. That was the dark ages 1980 so hopefully they have come along. Be there for the wife that's all that counts right now.
