Any real world actual 1/4 mile times?
Magazines have shown a mid 13s run, but i'm curious any actual numbers from stock 228i?
Post your times stock: if stage 1 also post your numbers: UPDATE: Got a chance to run 3 times. I was using launch control. I wish it handnt kicked it, as when it doesn't, Im able to brake launch off much higher rpm and run a lot stronger of the line. A complete fail on my part for getting nervous when the Christmas tree started dropping as I missed the launch completely on the first 2 passes. Third pass with a solid launch with .315 reaction time was much better but the car was running hot so it didn't even matter. 2015 228i xDrive on 93 gas. My best pass was 13.8 at 99mph. The next two passes were both 13.9 and both 98 and 99mph. consecutive 60' times with 2.1 and I think that's the best I can get on run flats. Conditions were pretty hot and I didn't really let her cool down before any passes. If I let her cool down and maybe a little cooler conditions would let me run much better times. Thanks, Roman Last edited by Roman G; 06-03-2015 at 02:07 PM.. |

Bringing this back up wondering if anyone has had a chance to run at a track Stock or Stage 1
Weather is getting good here in NYC might as well go and make a few passes and post here if anyone is curious. Closest track is a little over an hour away at Englishtown. |

Was only able to get 2 runs in at the Fontana speedway today. Had tons of wheel spin as I was on the stock tires. First run went well against a full bolt on n54 335i and my second run it looks like something went wrong with the low pressure fuel pump. Will be checking that out this week.

Hi guys, I have a stock 228i. With about 10,000 miles on the original tires I was able to get around 13.8 consistently. My best run was 13.78. I was pedaling it to launch at about 2500rpm. I went again yesterday and now have about 22k on the tires. Temperature was also about 15 degrees warmer. I got 13.9 three times and a 13.8 one time. I was running a mix of 91 and 100 race fuel.

I am also thinking of getting a jb4 stage 1. Has anyone seen a 1/4 mile time with just a jb4 stage 1 and no other mods? I'm trying to justify the $400 to myself
