Don't use tape else the clips on plastic holders will get looser, bending more towards the centre. Try to use those black rubber sticky paste that they have at the tire shops. Will keep the shape of the plastic better
Nope....it is the cap/wheel tolerances. If you get your hands on the 1 series caps they fit right in like they should.....they are a different size/design then the new ones. No matter how hard you pounded/pushed the fronts on my 235 they would not go all the way in. see my pics http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showt...4#post16640214

I can't budge mine after putting double sided duck tape on them, seriously I tried to get them off and now I can't.

I've read about this happening. How is BMW handling this? It sounds like a design flaw.

I noticed the same problem after putting on winter tires. The fix was easy enough though. There are plastic tabs on the underside of the cap that hold them in place. I bent them outward for a tighter fit. Since then I've put on a few thousand km and there still snug.

They are still flinging off on the 2015's. The 3 M235's that we used at the BMW Performance control school were missing some too

My dealership told me he has never seen anything like this. I had to buy another set for the car.

I lost my front left on my 2015 and I keep pushing all the other back in. The new one I bought for $12 bucks seems to fit proper and stay in. Its almost like the caps it came with are too large.

58 or 68 mm diameter?

Hi what should be the best size of Center wheel caps for a 2014 328xi BMW car's 18 inch wheels (multi spoke 416 style)? 58 mm diameter or 68 mm diameter? How to check? Thanks
