Good to hear.

I'm going to look into a set of Blizzaks myself.

Where did you source yours?

After I got my beauty (estoril blue btw) I remember checking the London BMW website and seeing the 228i you bought and thinking whoever buys this is getting a Great deal! Enjoy!! And Great Choice!
Cool.

Great minds think alike as they say.

This is really a great story. I'm sure you will enjoy all the added range with the turbo motor. Pretty car as well. I have a soft spot for red Bimmers.

Thanks Steve.

Interestingly enough, the color is really growing on me. It's actually the release color, seen in all videos and brochures, so apparently BMW liked it too!

Just picked it up tonight. So nice. Rode like a dream. One thing that surprised me was how comfortable the hour long drive home was. This car can really be all things - Daily driver, sports car, and cruiser.

It's the best vehicle I have ever owned, though I must admit my 2011 CBR1000 RR was pretty sick too.

I'm also a fan of the CBR RR line of bikes. I won't ever get one as where I'm going I would be playing the lottery with my life because people can't drive. I'm gonna miss Germany. I ended up buying the launch color of my last car. It was plastered all over all the media which was cool and helped me sell it here in Germany.

Hey! I just noticed you didn't get the luxury(?) package, so you're without the comfort access feature. So does that mean you still have to click on the keyfob to unlock the doors?

That is correct. Keyfob is required to unlock doors.
