Here's my most recent update for mileage:

25.2 overall since Jan with 13 miles on the clock from Welt to drop off.

The 33.1 mpg was a road trip to Austin from Dallas.

4000 miles in I'm averaging around 22-23mpg. My F30 was usually a little bit better, but not by much. Also the mpg gauge in the F22 is spot on. My F30 was always about 1-2mpg higher than actual.

The F22 seems to have a slightly more aggressive throttle tuning than the F30 as well. Makes it a little harder to keep the throttle very low when in comfort.

I got my fingers crossed on getting a little better. The 128i was rated at 28mpg highway and I usually average 30-32mpg hoping for similar ratio on the mpg for the M235i.

In 4,500 miles my 2 has improved 6mpg guessing peak mpg will be seen around 10k miles or so.

Best mileage on a full tank in my 128i was 34-35mpg....would be awesome to hit 37-38 in the M235i. Im no slow poke either usually 75mph is my average on the highway so not going crazy slow but a tolerable rate of speed.

I don't drive it too easy though. I didn't buy this car for gas mileage..

Just made an Ecopro run from Seattle to Portland and got my best yet: 39.3. The 228 loves the open roads...stop and go...not so much.

I do probably 90% city driving and I'm avg'ing, according to the car, 18.5MPG!! About 5 MPG less than I expected.

I'm sure part of it is the fact it's still new to me and I'm having fun but also the high city portion of my driving.

Your experience so far?

Car: M235i
City/Hwy: 90/10
Avg MPG according to car: 18.5
Avg. MPH: 24
Approx. Miles: 1,000
Car: M235xi on the all season RunFlats
City/Hwy: 75/25 ish
Mileage: ~2500

MPG per Gas Cubby, always shell 93 V Power+ or Mobile 93...

18.9 MPG

For Comparo I owned my MINI for ~ 38000 miles in roughly the same area (same city)... and Gas Cubby says 25.1 MPG
I once owned an Altima 3.5 liter SE-R... and was doing then ~ 19 MPG

I seem to be averaging about 19.6mpg according to the car since the day I picked her up.

Yet on a full tank of 93oct I only seem to get about 200 miles out of it? Does this seem normal..

About a year in on my 228, with about 75% city miles, I'm averaging about 26 mpg per the trip computer that I reset about 3 months ago. I do mostly Comfort, with bursts of Sport at times, but I do use Eco Pro occasionally too. However, I tracked my last tank the old fashioned way (you know, math), and I was only getting 23 mpg. Even if that's true, I'm not complaining. I don't know if it's the engine or changed driving style, but it is better now than when I first got it. I've found that to be the case with most of my cars though.

Uh...that probably is not going to happen even if you ran it in ECO PRO all the time. You are going to a bigger engine.

I drive Eco 80% of the time as it is a DD. Baltimore to Annapolis is roughly 26mpg, and Baltimore to the coast in NC is around 32mpg. This was performed the old school way with math. The Avg MPG gauge is close, but off by 2-4mpg.

On the weekends when I'm out having fun, I've been in the 18mpg range.

Huh...mine is pretty dead on! I always reset my trip computer when I fill up. Several times I have calculated based on miles driven and amount of gas used. It was always to with 0.2 mpg of the digital computer readout.

I reset both the trip and mpg on every tank. The highway to NC was very accurate, but for everyday use it's not that close...I don't even look at it anymore.

As Jet_00 stated, you don't by a car like this for mpg!

I have a 228i xDrive coupe, having 28.8 MPG from the computer.
50/50 city/hwy. 100% comfort mode.
I was getting around 20 MPG before resetting for the first time at around 300 miles.
