So during my process of installing my nice painted aluminum valve cover about 90% of it had been goin perfect. Then I realized to my install on the already replaced pcv hose that its entrance to the turbo inlet pipe had been cracked open splitting open the screen hole area for the pcv. So did a little research and again this is labeled as one of those plastic junk pieces on the car. (I’ve replaced 4 of the major already). Iam just curious if i can get sum votes on good replacement. Iam kinda sittin on the CTS or the fatty one from BMS. Or maybe the MST from XPh?What do u guys think? I was almost complete with the cover than this pops up. Urgh. Sorry for the long story. Ill post pics when i get the plastic junk part out. Luv this car but these lite duty plastic parts overheating and breakin is getting frustrating. Ugh. Sorry for rant. But any ideas from u guys would help or anybody that has replaced this yet.

Thanx in advance

MST V2 or CTS (which I hear is sllllightly larger) I would pair it with a Diverter valve while you are there.

Inlet was worth about 10whp up top and the DV added faster spool and better throttle response.

The downside was the flow was so much better, the stock intake became a restriction.

The V2 is perfect for the stock turbo, no idea why they sell the V1. I have a V2 on my stock turbo.

The CTS looks pretty goodat the turbo side just as flowing as MST. Plus CTS is cheaper and ill snatch the CTS DV as well. Good prices on X-PH. Man the decisions. Lol

A little performance boost, a little noise and easy to install bov upgrade. Uses sum factory parts unlike those gfb’s. Thats what i can gather from their website. If it dont work great ill switch it up

Yeah, I would send that right back. Upgrading the DV allowed me to hold boost better between shifts, and give better throttle response. This will not.

So is this just a noise maker and thats it? So is the suggestion the GFB valve? Its canceled. And i will be adding on the GFB. Been doin sum decent research on it. Which explains it is actually a performance upgrade and not just a noisy woosh. Gracias.

I guess maybe a new fmic should be next as well. Already replaced the charge side when that plastic crap blew right off.

I prefer the Turbosmart, but the DV+ is good as well, and like you said - it’s not just for noise, but a performance upgrade.

If you plan on doing any power mods, a Intercooler is a must.

Thanx for the intel. The turbosmart looks s little easier to install and replaces the entire oem part. Plug and play. Might be a better option. Ill add that to my cart and make a decision. Appreciate the hookup but damn my CC is falling quick. Lol. Yea fmic is probably next on my list of the larger items

LOL, I know the feeling. I will say they will make the car feel and drive so much better.

It's about smiles per gallon, can you really put a cost on that? (probably lol)

Lol btrue dat. The turbosmart makes more sense as well. Been watching videos. I do like replacing all these plastic parts with upgraded, better quality “ usually aluminum “ parts. Gracias

BMS's silicone inlet seems to have the largest ID so far:
