#FWP indeed I hate that the door panels on the inside sit too high. Sometimes I like to put my arm on it against the window but they sit much higher than my E92 so it's an odd angle that forces my arm to be higher than I'd like (like if I'm raising my elbow to the sky). Not really a big deal...but if I had to find something - there it is. |

I totally second this. It's a pain in the rear for me to turn the damn thing even without gloves on. A knob? They over-thought this one. It would be nice if there was a retrofit available for the dimming mirror.

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but I got to page 11 and got tired of reading!
There's one small problem with the 235...Driver's position! The driver's seat is actually pointed slightly to the left instead of straight ahead (very subtle). Also the throttle and brake are also shifted a little more left than they should be. I feel like I'm always sitting a bit twisted in the seat. Most likely this is because of the transmission tunnel in relation to the car width.

So to fix this I wrapped the button with adhesive backed velcro. A strip about 1/4" x 2" works well.

I "hate" that my headlights are so bright that I wish I could dial them back a hair when driving in the snow.....its "almost" like having brites on
Otherwise....there's everything to LOVE about this car |

Not sure if anyone has said this yet, but I find the turning circle to be pretty bad. At work I park next to a concrete island and to get out, I do a 180 degrees turn from my spot into the access road. With my old Mazda 3, I can make the turn, but with the 2, I have to reverse half way (like a 3 point turn) before completing the turn.

Here's an apt one: a 370z, which is an example of a sporty RWD car with a horrible turning circle. The 2er's is easily 5-7 feet tighter.

After owning the car for only 5 days I have 3 complaints thus far.
1. No seatbelt butler 2. xenon lights pointed waay to low.(simple fix with the turn of the white screw. Thanks bimmerpost!) 3. Not feeling the exposed cigarette lighter in between the cup holders. Seems misplaced. What's up with that BMW

You should have the actual 'cigarette lighter' and that lidded compartment in your car; they are standard in the U.S. EU and Canadian cars get a plastic plug for the 12v outlet and a rubber mat for the space taken up by the ashtray/compartment. If you don't have the lighter/compartment, you need to see your dealer.

Re. the 12v socket in-between the cupholders. This is where I put my rechargeable torch. BMW do one, part number [63 310 432 670] 'LED torch, rechargeable' or you can get them from Amazon. Really useful when you need one and makes sure that you have a working torch available all the time.
Pet peeve is that in the 'old days' you used to get a rechargeable torch included with the car (special socket, in the glove box). Plus you also used to get a useful storage net by the front passenger transmission tunnel, now also a retro-fit accessory [51 470 429 466] 'Storage net in foot well' See both below
