I agree, I think that's silly. Wrap quality has gotten to be superb. I can't even tell the difference anymore.

The only thing I will miss from individual is to get full leather. I think it adds a lot of premium to the 3/4-series and it would be the same for the 2-series and would make the M2 feel more premium than the regular 2-series. But it isn't really a deal breaker.

That's funny but I think it's more a symptom of the fact that we have NOTHING new to talk about

Until some new information "leak" or mule sighting occurs, I'm afraid that we will surely continue discussing dumb shit

I'm the complete opposite. I want cloth seats. The less is more for what I want with the M2.

Well, we can have that (cloth/alcantara) in all cars from 1-series to 6-series cars already so it doesn't feel premium even though I would prefer it in a M235i over Dakota leather. It looks great and probably is the better option for grip, longevity and winter.

I don't think this is silly, I don't care for the wrapped look. don't care what anyone says, you can tell. I have a bsm 235 and it sounds like the M2 won't really be that different so color choice is huge for me. especially due to the fact that what we get is what we get. (no indi)

this car is all about aesthetics, I guess they decided to save the performance for the GTS or whatever it will be called.

I can kinda see where you are coming from since you already own an M235i, but that would be like the F30 is kind of the same as an F80 (which they aren't)

Look at this picture for example:

You say that this car is all about aesthetics, but we don't know what the standard color choices will be available. Or how the car even looks like without camo.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm just glad that Long Beach Blue will be offered.

Got to agree with you.
I could get the ///M2 in Alpine white, which would be similar to millions of other cars and hundreds of thousands of other BMW's and still be ecstatic!

Good lord the m235i rear end looks like Paris Hilton next to a Shakira.

I really like that comparison as it highlights the increased track width over the m235i as well. Any idea if we are getting a CFRP trunk?

Fantasy world: Choice of techno violet, blue velvet, moonstone metallic.

I need bright colours. Black doesn't appeal to me anymore, too easy to scratch. Things like TiAg don't appeal to me or these light blues, with the exception of atlatls and the one listed above.

Green options would be cool but are rare.

If all else fails I'd go alpine white and CSL racing stripes.

Rumors of a Techno Violet II car here: Techno Violet II Rumors

Then I remember reading somewhere that you can't get "Techno Violet [I]" anymore, sorry I can't remember where. Not a worry for the M2 anyway (no individual as discussed at length already).

I want a nice burnt orange or something similar that's "in your face" kind of color.

I saw the Donnington Grey on the X5 at the NYIAS yesterday and it looked sick. Definitely leaning towards that color. And I saw the Long Beach Blue there too and personally I not a fan at all way to light and not aggressive at all.
