That black car really did well. I may have lost track of it but at the end you were following another black one that appeared to be an Astra OPC/GTC?
Also, that Scirocco that you passed kept up very well! I couldn't believe it. The drivers are so talented! |

There was also a blue Scirocco that I didn't capture on that lap who was very fast. Here is another video of me driving, this time in the BMW M4: |

Great driving. I am jealous. Did you modify the car in any way ? (for example: racing brake fluid & pads). How did the car hold-up ? Any warning lights, high-temperature readings or loss of power ?

Tom, can you recall some of the cornering speeds reached in the 235?
Any 130+ speeds going through any of the bends? Was the ABS activated in any of the braking points? Was the top-speed limiter ever reached on the straights? Really nice videos! |

Stock. Absolutely no issues or brake fade. Well, I had some scares on the F1 circuit next door but that was due to no grip in the rain! ABS activation only in the wet.
Fuschrore can be over 130 mph, that is the only turn of such speed at the nordschleife. One time I almost crashed a 135i there going 140 mph when the suspension fully compressed and the car went straight when I desperately needed to go left. Now I don't go as fast there You can actually see the speeds of the m4 in that video link above if you watch it full screen. |

Foxhole was my favorite part of the track. It is fast, but can really unsettle the car at higher speeds. Since it's a downhill run, you can easily pick up speed that leaves you in a bind at the exit. So much fun. I want to go back...
I think you can hit top speed at the final straight, but it's not the full straight for the touristenfahrten, as they split it down the middle, and you actually start your lap at the middle of that stretch. Coming around the last turn before the straight at high speeds should allow you to hit top speed before you need to exit. Obviously not as awesome as it is in video games, where you're at top speed for half a mile. |

Amazing skill especially on the shifting, it looked as if the car had automatic rev matching, very smooth and quick shifting !!
What's your experience level at the ring to be able to go that fast? And what was the lap time? |
