Can this part be replaced without replacing the front bumper or am I hosed?
A piece of tire tread was kicked up by another truck and did this to my front air dam:
 It looks like the broken part snaps on to the bumper. Is this the case, or do I need a new bumper? |

If I were you I'd maybe get a repair authorized now and do it in spring. Always the chance of scraping a parking curb or something when everything is covered in snow during the winter.

Isn't that just the spoiler that's damaged? If so, you can replace that yourself.

Did some searching today. Broken piece is center filler, $22.68 online. If piece behind it (lower grille) needs replaced $72.66. If painting isn't needed I'll do it myself before lease turn in, otherwise there's a great BMW Approved body shop near me, I'll pay for the work.

It's just the matte black lower lip portion. You shouldn't have to paint it. It should come that way when you order it.
