Smoked Reflectors

I hated the amber front reflectors so just swapped them out for smoked. Thought about color matched but decide to try this first. Still on the fence.

Thoughts?

Yes my car is filthy

I did the same. The smoked looked great . I had to do the front and rear from IND in black sapphire .

I'd have gone with clear on a white car but still looks good.

Haven't seen the clear. Great idea. I'll give those a try as well.

If the same amount of light comes through, fine. If it's reduced..

Shouldn't be any light "coming" through. It just a reflector. As far as the reflective qualities, I would guess the smoked one would be less reflective.

Yes, good point, thank you, and I erred in my writing. The overall concern is any/all of the mods which reduce light output and visibility of these vehicles for the sake of style while standing still.

I bought the smoked ones on Amazon. The painted ones on IND.

Looks nice. Helps to see pics - I'm thinking of doing the smoked ones on mine (grey), rather than the body-colored that eliminates the reflective part altogether.

I was smoked front and rear in my EB car. Then I went paint matched front and kept the rear smoked because it matches the diffuser well.

The answer that some of us are looking for us how much reflectivity you are getting, especially for the darker ones. They may look good, until KABOOM!

I am with above "mepho" on "relfectivities". What it appears shown at a Cars&Coffee is definitely a custom pride point, but with folks who come on me to quickly....or in parking lots this season....I personally want as much notice to them from their headlight reflections as I can get. BUT that's me.

I also--and its personal, don't think anyone is going to gaga over this little beast really any more just because of reflectors fazed out. But its personal...and if you like it, then you like it.

There is no reflection. They are painted body color.
