M240i cold start..

Hi All,

I've had my new M240i for two weeks now. I started it this morning and only my right side exhaust was firing. Nothing coming out of the left side (when looking at the car from the rear). Anyone else having/had this issue? It didn't sound as loud as it usually does either on startup.

left side has the valve. Valve only opens in sport and sport+ modes. When you first start your car, it's in comfort. Not a defect/problem. Normal operation

It also won't open until it reaches a certain temp in sport. You can wait for it to open and unplug the servo to keep it that way.

I waited until the valve was open and then disconnected the actuator.

I did the same as BentZero, disconnected it and zip tied it up and out of reach. Then I used electrical tape to make sure the connectors don't get all gunked up and corroded. Best mod yet.
