I must say, other than it not having a touch screen, I saw no issues with it. It was so easy to use, I think I was out of the car within 5 mins saying, I'm good with it.

I don't know if it's because I wasn't using a touch screen, but inputs were nice and quick, unlike other touch screen setups I've used.
My beef with it is with the integration with Sirius/XM which is what I use most

Other functions like checking oil/etc all work fine

I just bought the conti's. They are far cheaper than comparable tires. The ride quality is great going from a 205/50 to 235/35, great grip out of a 340t although you can get stickier. Handling is delightful, and tread wear is great.

All that said, I've bought quite a few sets over the last few years for multiple cars so I may have some bias, but they line up as an almost perfect tire for my driving.

I didn't think it was going to be a big deal but... I'm really wishing I could have sport steering with comfort throttle.

My M240i has an awful smell (closest thing I can think of is similar to melted crayons) that comes from the ventilation system when I have my sunroof cracked or open and/or when my windows are open. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yep, same here. To me the odor is very similar to exhaust. Could there be a lube on the mechanism causing it? Very noticeable on my 240.

I have not smell any odor from the vents. (Windows up or down, no moonroof)
It can be smell from engine room if the HVAC fresh air intake seal is not properly installed.

It can be pain to check it yourself. Let the dealer check.

You can. DSC Off mode. Sport suspension / steering & linear throttle.

Love the car to death, only ask would be to have the volume near the iDrive knob since it would be a much more convenient in my 6MT.

Like my gf's Audi =/

You can configure Sport mode to be chassis only, which will do what you want. That's how I have mine configured. I don't like the Sport throttle.

I do exactly the same thing. Don't like the sport throttle with the stick... hard to drive it smoothly.

Experienced something similar but it disappeared after 4500 miles. Did not smell like burning though more like lubricants or adhesive. Anything "burning" I would take to the dealer.

Love the car and the silent grunty engine, but what is the deal with the rattle from the child seat plastic covers behind the back seats and at bottom of it?
Yes gaffe tape fixed it, but really BMW cheepo plastic?

Im not a fan of how soft the front fascia is. 4K miles on my M240 and I have way too many dings and nicks. I'm not a tailgater but do drive in some moderately heavy traffic throughout the week, so I know it's inevitable, but the wife's VW has far less wear and tear on the front than mine, and she is at 10k miles. Anyone else noticing this?

I've had this happen multiple times, first with the stock exhaust, and then again with my MPE. The dealer replaced the entire rear section each time under warranty. I'm guessing it will happen again at some point soon though.

I have. I'm not sure how much a clear bra would help either.

Dislike how the doors seem to open in increments as opposed to smoothly. Can make getting in/out in tight spaces a pain...

Mainly hating that I still have my snows on and can't change them til mid-week. Also still wishing there was just a plain intermittent feature on the wipers (set interval) since the auto function seems to be unpredictably wacko at times. And for god's sake why couldn't they have molded in a small handhold on that armrest - I'm considering trying to mod one, if/when I pull the doors for speaker install (base stereo really sucks too, but that's a dead horse). But overall loving it enough that if it came with no wipers, barbed wire interior and an 8-track I'd still wish I was driving it more.

I did finally clue in to the fact that it slows down when you are at a stop - had one of those -'damn I just broke it' moments with that once as I was messing with the knob (couldn't get it to go back to faster speed).

I hate that the navigation maps cost $500 to update. That's the price my dealer quoted anyway. I know I can download maps with bit torrent and generate keys somehow, but I'd rather not take the chance of anything going wrong. So I'm stuck with 2015 maps still...
