It's great. Feels a bit tighter than sport though I haven't heard any confirmation it's different than sport.
I use it near exclusively. |

I drove home from work in the rain today. The best fun I've ever had driving home from work! It's not the best for traffic and stop/start traffic, but on country roads or on the weekend Sport+ howls!

All the time. The one thing I've noticed it is harder to break the backend loose when compared to my 135. I have both cars still and my 135 has the same PSS tires.

I've not seen any guidance to that effect. I've been in Sport and Sport+ during break-in... just not gunning it or taking the revs too high. Also trying to avoid longer bouts of cruise control.

I have M235i 6MT and drive almost exclusively in "Sport+". The main reason is because I can rev-match quicker due to more responsive throttle. I am surprised by the exhaust drone in "Sport+" though (because the engine is considerably louder than in "Comfort"). In fact Nissan Versa POS I rented was much more quiet than this $50.000+ luxury coupe.

All day every day. Don't be scared. Any other mode is reduced performance. Why spend all that money and then tame it. If you're on rough roads or trying to get max mpgs that's different.

I really don't see how sport+ would affect break in. It's not like the engine operates so differently it's damaging it. It's all about RPMs and how high they are which would be operater error. But what happens below 4.5k is all good.

You know I remember reading that on the forum before getting my car. But after driving it for 4k miles I'm convinced the throttle response is better, steering is tighter, the digital sound is louder and possibly the suspension is a tad stiffer. In short. I notice a difference between sport and sport+ every time.

Based on responses here I see many people still don't understand "Chassis Only", "Drivetrain Only" and "Both" selectable options in Sport mode. No wonder BMW doesn't offer a better, more configurable system.

I configured sport to be drivetrain only, and have sport+ as both drivetrain and chassis. Also MT, only heal toe in sport or sport+ due to throttle reponse, easier to blip.

As previously mentioned, there is no difference between Sport and Sport + except the disablement of DSC. Any other sensations are just in your mind. If you are not on a track, and not an expert driver (with instincts that surpass the programmer's nanny settings), you may wish that the DSC was enabled if something unforeseen happens. But...that's just me.
