How many miles on car at delivery? Poll

Picked up mine today from the dealer. 6 miles on it.

It was neither. I purchased the car using True Car. The dealer that gave me the best price did not have a car with the options I wanted. They ended up getting the car from a dealer 90-100 away. Instead of putting it on a flat bed to transport between dealers they had a driver drive it from one to the other. I guess they knew I could not protest too much about it as in order to actually have them get the car from another dealer I had to put down a $1000 deposit. The pictures of the car on the other dealers web site shows the car having 10 miles on it. Those pictures are still on that dealers website too and I bought the car almost a month ago. They must not update that stuff very often. I can only hope the driver drove the thing responsibly and adhered to the break in requirements. I inspected the car thoroughly as far as the exterior and interior. It was fine.

Finally picked my car up and it had 17 miles. I had some paint work done so a few miles were driven to and from the body shop. Dealer said the car came off the truck with 6 miles.

What did they have to paint? And did you also purchase from New Country? I was there on wednesday and saw a EB m235 sitting inside service with a sold tag on it.

That was mine. It was waiting to get clear bra installed. I had the mirror caps and rear diffuser painted body color.

Most dealers in Ca. Have only 1 or 2 M235's on the lot so unless U order one or PU in Spartanburg chances are they will get test drove and have some miles on them. I know I plan on test driving one or two before I buy. That being said, I will probably order one.

3 miles on mine. It was still wrapped in plastic when I bought it. We took the plastic off the seats to get a better look at the interior and my salesman said, "Nothing quite like popping the cherry on a new BMW." I liked that line.

Man, just found out mine already has 90km on it and it's not even at the dealer yet. Why so much? It came from ship directly from Germany and on his way to me by rail now. Strange. Funnily, the 90km is dated before the car went into production so it might be just an estimate. This is not a number obtained directly by looking at it since I don;t have the car yet. It just came with my VIN information.

I am guessing this is an estimate in the info sheet with my VIN (I edited my post). If anyone here knows please chime in. If not I can follow up when I pickup the car and look at the actual milage.

Went and saw it with 6 miles when it came in from order still wrapped up, took delivery 3 days later with 10 miles on it...

10. suspect a few of those miles were due to mechanics testing the LSD I had fitted.
