Price wise it's a good bargain. My self owning an m135i I think you don't need more in a car. It's comfortable and fast whenever needed.
Will they be making a xdrive version of the 2 series though, since the m135i comes with optional xdrive?

Finally a new BMW that looks good, after all the latest ugly models.

The former 1-series coupe was hideous all over, the current 1-series hatchback is even more hideous, the F30 is plain ugly with its lowered nose and also too big, and the F32 has a roof line that looks like a GT instead of a coupe.

It's so nice and refreshing to see a front end that instantly looks good when looking at it. Even the rear end looks quite good !

Probably the only reason why BMW didn't make this look ugly and controversial is the existence of the Mercedes CLA and Audi's latest models like the A3 sedan. Thank you Mercedes and Audi that you put BMW back on track with their designs !

I can't really find a design flaw to this, except maybe the roof line that is just a bit taller in the back to what it would have been a perfect one.

I hope they will make a Gran Coupe version of it, and an M2 Gran Coupe. That would be a really great car.

I saw that too. Seems a bit suspect. For the 3, 5, and Z4, the manual is lighter than the 8 speed automatic as far as I know. Are the specs mistakenly reversed or is there some new drastically lighter version of the ZF8 here?

Edit: I think its a mistake. Weights in Kg show the manual as the lighter option so clearly one is wrong, and I'll bet it is the weight in pounds.

Can't wait!

I recently drove the M135i on a GP rated circuit and it was amazing. Having the same dynamics on cooler shape make this car a clear winner. Can't wait! Thanks BM.

The M235i replaces the 135is not the 135i. It is priced accordingly.

Too big now.

As good as the ZF auto is, it's not as good a DCT.

BUT..... the big issue for me is the dreadful electric steering on these F series cars.

For those reasons, I'll be keeping my E82 135 as long as possible.

I haven't even received my f30 yet and I'm excited about this as my next car. Lower weight, more power, sporty but sophisticated looks - what's not to like?

Anyone notice that the M235 6MT is rated for 19/28 fuel mileage? The 335 6MT is 20/30 and weighs more. Even the 335 6MT XDrive is 20/28.

Thank GOODNESS for the videos. Much better than the stills. I'm moving closer to this car now. Videos save the day!

Honeymoon and ED? Your fiancee/wife will kill you! This trip should e everything about her, not you and your cars. Don't ask me how I know.

I tend to agree, however it is also difficult to imagine BMW not capitalizing on the goodwill of the 1M and following it up with similar iteration. But I agree, they don't have much room to go from this M235i.

M235i for me would definitely be a replacement for the M3. I do not plan on keeping both.
