Realdread1 Not sure how you are going to connect to the JB4, nevermind datalog on OS X. The BMS JB4 app is a windows application. Am i missing something ? Are you using the DMAC OS X app? I have no idea on this, and what/how passive-delete is restricted, I imagine it would be the same. But i'm not devoting more effort into debugging another platform...

do you have an E90? what type of E series? I know it will work on an X1 E84 but don't think it will on a E90 or E82. not sure though...

As far as I'm aware the JB4 windows and Android/IOS applications for log monitoring are the same. The physical hardware should not matter for this.

Of course it's easy to find out, test it with the windows app.

I know that I received an "N55 F30 JB4" incorrectly. they told me I could update the firmware instead of getting a new unit, as i have an N26, but I'm not sure the E90 unit has the same connections as the F30 unit.

Wanted to bring this back up. The newest JB4 interface does not have a .exe file so you cannot copy/paste the patch file in the original post. The file is an App Manifest, so when I copy the attached JB4.exe file into the folder it does nothing. Also when opening the JB4 app manifest run file in the hex editor, the hex listed in the original posts are not there, so I am guessing something got changed in the interface.

Anybody have insight on this? Or maybe an older interface setup file they can email me?

Once i opened the cracked jb4 app i keep getting a message that says the app is unlicensed and exits out of the app. is this a new android issue?

it worked on my older android phone but not my current one.

I see the last time this post was updated was a year ago. Do you have a newer android cracked APK with the most recent version of the app?

to clarify

Does this just clear ALL codes from the dash or from the ECU also? So if it throws a code I wont know it unless I go and read for codes? Or there will be no codes?

Will the car still go into limp mode if something is wrong? Would that code be deleted if it does?

Same question here, except I'm already running catless downpipes, I'll try OP's solution in the coming weeks and let you know.

Passive delete on iOS or Android

For anyone looking to enable the passive CEL delete on iOS, I just discovered that all you need to do is:
1. Install a VPN app on your device
2. Connect to a VPN outside of the US
3. Open the JB4 App, go to Settings->Developer Options, and tap Check Country
4. Now when you go to Settings->WMI, you should be able to enable the Bit6: Passive Delete option!

This worked for me - hope it helps others!
