Enzo Tune for M235i?

For those of you that have the Enzo 400+ tune, what are your thoughts on it and how has it held up for you?

http://tunedbyenzo.com/product/bmw-m...u-calibration/

I'm debating turning in my car at lease end and getting an M2 or just buying it out and tuning it to spice things up.

Another thing I wanted to ask about is if I need to take the car into BMW... will they see that the car is tuned?

I'm a bit new to the engine tuning part of this and I've only done external mods, so I'm not sure what this whole process will take.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Are you thinking about the Enzo 400R BM3 map? If you go that route there is a lot more hardware you will need to buy - downpipe, chargepipe, IC, etc. Essentially FBO. Have you considered the JB4 route? Even map 1 with JB4 will get you some significant gains and IMO is a good place to start.

I ran the BM3 Enzo map for a while but switched it out since it wasn't working with my JB4 / meth injection.

It's a well debated topic as to what the dealer finds or is looking for in terms of doing updates to your car or if motor damage was done where they would want to check the history in your DME. So its 50/50 and all depends on your dealer. I purchased the ActiveAutowerkes tune and yes I have my warranty so I'm not too concerned since I am confident its a very good tune and wont cause me any issues. If you get your car tuned with any of the other flashes(BM3,MHD,Helix,etc) make sure the car is tuned by someone competent with a very good tuning rep. With AA I'm not even worried.
Tune with warranty/ gamble in terms of who your dealer is.

I have worked with Enzo before, he is a good guy and tuner. That being said OBD flash is the way to go now.

You can always get an OBD flash and ask him for a custom map

Well thats because you should of requested for the BEF like Luminous had on his m235

+1 Solid for EnzoRacing he's also our biggest and first Bootmod3 Dealer in the Tri-State has unlocked over 20 of locals I've met in the last year. Not counting all the guys who I first met that were running his Flash only a lot of things have improved over time and he's got the fastest stock turbo M5 no meth running; owner tested and proven in local events 43k miles still running strong

Cheers

Probably right - I thought Luminous was running a PS2. Have to say the modding thing is very addictive and what I never would have considered a few months ago am thinking about now. PS2 may be on the horizon... Modding is a wallet weapon of mass destruction.

Not to detract from Enzo or the 400R map - Enzo is a great guy and the 400R map is an absolute blast of a tune to drive. Its just the JB4 is not high boost BEF friendly. If my JB4 didn't boomerang I would probably still be running just the Enzo 400R. Currently trying the PTF stage 1 with JB4 / map3 and trying to get it dialed in.

I agree also, prior to this year jb4 support for other flashes was non-existent until MHD came out he got to work on his BMS (Free) bef lmao has released 3 new firmwares to support a BEF Flash now go figure
