Mineral Grey Pics

Notice the body color rear diffuser. STOCK. I was called in today to see a production model and was pleasantly surprised.

Are you sure it's body color? The color it's painted in is almost identical to MG.

I asked same question. Was told it is painted a MG "shade" which personally I like on the new AW I have ordered...makes a nice contrast, tho some prefer not, and that's OK not to like it. But I think it is slate grey color as stock for all.

You are all probably correct I just know that the back color is different than the preproduction model I saw. The preproduction model I saw matched my wife's X1 one perfectly in the back. This is definitely the same color as the car.

In looking at the other MG pics on here there is a slight shade difference that maybe you can't see head on. Maybe if I had the car in natural light I would've seen the differences. Regardless, I'm personally very happy because I didn't want the big plastic back contrast unless I was getting AW and wanted to contrast things. As much as was made of the back of the car, it looks fine in person. It feels like a e46 but a bit taller when you are standing next to it. The flares around the back wheel are more pronounced in person and should look really cool on lighter colors. It's just a clean, great looking car IMO.

Just saw pics of a AW on delivery. I'm totally wrong as that was grey too. Need Jason to delete my title line. I'll try and make amends for my misinformation by posting some bad pics I took today. Please excuse my ignorance gents.

Saw the EB 235 at my dealer yesterday too. When I saw the diffuser, I told my sales guy the factory forgot to finish painting the car. Looked like a diffuser off the factory line slapped onto the bottom of the bumper.

But, my wife liked it (and the side mirrors, which kinda match her Z4).

I have a MW X1 MSport and the stock diffuser is a dark gray and from every photo I have seen if the M235 the material looks the same and is the same color. It looks nice on MW by the way.

I have the same car as well (X1 MSport). I swear in person it's a different material. I can't really explain it but our X1 is more "plasticky" and feels somewhat flimsy. This rear on the M235 felt more like the diffuser material on my 335is. It was a bit thicker feeling from what I could tell.

On the X1 the material seems like its a plastic polycarbonate and shiny. I assume the one on the M235 is plastic as well just a different type. At least it's really easy to keep clean on the X1.

If you want to spend the $, I believe the performance rear diffuser will be body colored with the exception of the "fins". Honestly I was completely fooled into thinking it was painted body color on the MG so if you ordered MG, as I did to blend the back better, then I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
