Agreed. 200 degrees is ideal and 180 degrees would be my personal minimum.

Component warm up is key; agreed to that as well. I think a lot of the 6mts with 1-2 synchro issues are because owners, especially ones with tunes that greatly increase torque, are beating on the 6mt before the tranny fluid is up to temp thus the syncros can't keep up. It's very clear to me that the tranny fluid in the 6mt is robust, but needs a good 15+ minutes of driving before it's fully warm and you can shift hard.
