I guess it is, though it is labeled as N55B30O0 in the M135i. The M235i has 6 PS more I think, but that's just marketing I guess. 306 PS versions are N55B30M0.

M135i does not have a rev matching feature. M GmbH thing only.

Look up on the F20 hatch. If I remember correctly, the lower part of the middle tunel is hard plastic, lower parts of door cards are from some a little bit better hard plastic. Soft touch materials are on upper dash and gauge cluster thingy, upper parts of door cards and door armrests. Don't expect anything awesome.

Compared to the old 1 Series, it is better. However, the new Audi A3 is way ahead in interior quality.

----------
What changes have been made compared to the M135i F20/21, or they were just usual tweaks that are needed to be done when developing a car from hatch to coupe if you know what I mean. Any changes in steering, chassis etc.?

To expand this question: Why are most (good) colors limited to non-M lines?

Doesn't make much sense that you can order a cheapo non-Line 2er with any color you want, but if you go all-in with the M-Pack you only get some limited colors.

Has the x-Drive version of the M235i been tuned to deliver something 30%-ish ///M (i.e. better dynamics than your run of the mill x-Drive variant) or will the x-Drive version of the M235i have the same specs and abilities as the 228 x-Drive??

Hi. Thank you. Here are my two questions about design

1. Why those unconventional grilles? Why their slats are not vertical? They would be a lot nicer

2. It seems the new 7 series (G11) will have the hood line in the grilles....so why do BMW insists in the 2 Series in this awful design choice of the hood line 10cm before the grilles if they have solved the pedestrian problem as we can see in the G11 prototypes.??

Thanks

Not sure if you are in the US or referring to the M235i

But in the US order guide, on the M235i the sensatec is NC(no charge). In other words, it is standard and if you want leather you can get premium package for 2,something or leather alone for 1450

Need pricing on performance parts.

Desperately need a 19 inch rim choice that isn't $4k.

Need more clarity on various suspension options (M Sport, Adaptive, M Performance)

Why do the color choices for both the interior and exterior suck so much?? Can we at least get Sakir Orange or Immola?

Thanks
Maybe because 7 series owners can pony up $ if they hit a pedestrian and said pedestrian gets injured. A 2 series owner can't usually. Same goes for 3, 4, 5, etc.

Rich, elderly British couple in 7 series:
Man: Blimey, I hit another person. Why can't they look?
Wife: You were not looking, my dear. You were busy playing with that knob.
Man: Looks like he broke a rib. I hope he doesn't sue us for over 50000 quid like the last guy did. If only the hood line was set 20 cm behind the grille, we'd be okay.
Wife: Crummy! That horrid hood line would not behoove our tastes, Arthur!

They have a 4 door 2 series. It is FWD too. It is called the Active Tourer and with it BMW will destroy the mighty CLA.

This is false..my 2011 135i DCT rev matched perfectly as it is also noted in the manual.

The earlier reference was to the M135 F20/F21, not your E82. It was also referring to the manual transmission, the kind with three pedals, not the DCT of the E82 135is or the 8s ZF of the F2x.

The price guide shows SensaTec as NC but the order guide for the M235i does *not* include SensaTec. Check the attachment.

You should really stick to questions actually mentioning the 2er in general.
You will not get an answer to some of the questions being asked.
Especially in the questions you want answered.

Although some have already in certain ways been answered.

We got to 8 comments before the now cliche and pretty much confirmed M2 was mentioned... It's a start but I think some of you are going to have to check in to ///M rehab.

On a serious note is there any chance of the 3 litre diesels making it to the 2 series?
