m235i GTS !!!!! not really but got your attention :)

I wanted to keep this to myself but since you guys are all pretty cool I thought I'd share what I am working on! maybe the first maybe not idk But I have always loved the look of 1Ms with GTS wings so I thought I'd try it out. I am sourcing a new trunk to drill into so I can leave my trunk alone.

Very Sorry for the iPhone picture quality its weird lighting.... Also this is just a estaimated mounting point just to get a visual also Its raining, But tomorrow I will take some pictures outside in day light.

I also got some exotics tuning style canards to play with and have had a fall line motorsports tow strap and IND cover for a while but I never use, I just need some Recaros and some lighter wheels. I am looking into what I can do with 18x9 et30 arc 8s APEX just released maybe some Enkeis. The project never ends KW V3s & BBS RSIIs will happen sooner or later also

Oh and I just swapped the my 255/30 rear for a 245/30/19 michelin PSS and 100% no more rubbing though I miss the meat

let me know what you think!

if you take it on track.. cool. Should help with downforce and suspension will help out alot.

If you don't. You should have just got a civic, it would have been cheaper to make a fast and furious extra.

Thanks !

This was just for a test fit , the trunk I'm getting doesn't have any lip I have my factory small one that came with my car I can always use idk what to do I like the look of both but at the same time I'd have to buy a new perf spoiler because I don't want to ruin the OEM adhesive and end up having a thicker edge with 3M tape I'd have to add

You wouldn't ruin it at all, and the 3m adhesive works just the same. I removed and re attached when I wrapped the car, couldn't tell the difference.

Personally I would only do one or the other, too much having both , IMO a bit distracting/jumbled. Good luck!

I'll probably end up using the small factory m235i with the gts wing since its literally collecting dust but I won't know how it looks until I put it all together!

LOL disregard people on here you do what you think is best. If you want two wings you go two wings man. Kinda crazy how some people have to defend themselves on here, makes me want to move away from forums honestly.

Thanks man! I kind of feel the same about getting off the forums but at the same time I like interacting with people who actually want to see what thing would like (wheels, exterior bits etc...) I explored the limits of basic wheel fitment on this car early on and I hope the dozens of people who PMd me about my wheel/tire combos or the 8.8 L7 screen swap thought it was useful/helpful. I have my own plans for the car and more then anything I get a laugh !
