Morning just wanted to get some advice ref navigation updates.

I purchased a used BMW F45 220D in october with EntryNav headunit fitted . looking at the built in sat nav is says the maps are from 2016 , these are the details it tells me on the map screen :

Europa
BMW Group
101151.3.412
Road map EUROPE Route 2016-1

RL_EntryNav_Nav_I16293A


On the BMW app it says I can purchase a usb map update but it's only 1 year so I assume no more updates after the 1 year is up & it costs £49.

Reading here & other forums I believe I may be able to purchase a lifetime code which will allow me to update the maps via usb whenever updated maps come out?

Anyone gone the lifetime code option & is it straightforward? , also any recommendations of any trustworthy sellers of the codes to use?

Sorry for all the questions but I am BMW Navigation virgin lol

Yeah I managed to get in contact & was advised a lifetime code was not available for route maps so could only get a one time code & he put me in contact with someone.

message him & i'm sure he'll help you out.
