hold the DSC button for 3-5 sec. This will disable traction and activate the eLSD

At the expense of aggressive throttle mapping and exhaust note.
I really kind of wish BMW would have developed this mode differently

Tried that. The power still cuts out coming out of a corner at wot.

That's the car trying to not kill you, the eLSD. Get a proper LSD, it won't be as noticeable. There's a way to code out the eLSD, I just can't remember the name of the thread that explains how.

Also, if you have the ZF 8HP Automatic push it to the left into "S" mode. On later ECU firmware versions this will restore the aggressive throttle mappings. And as said, get a mechanical LSD and code-out the e differential control.
