F2X stealth meth tank?

Does anyone know whether there is a stealth meth tank for F2x user?

I am using a 1G BMS tank and that looks dangerous and really mess.

I know BMS are providing F3X/F8X stealth tank but they have a really large space under the hood.

Advan performance has E9X's one.

BTW I can design one since I learn'd lots of solidwork but have no idea how to product.

Last I heard they decided to work on one for F10 instead of F22 due to lack of space

I've always used my washer fluid reservoir. Tap into it and you can use the straight cheapo blue washer fluid, which is basically a 50/50 water/meth mix. I also went this route on past vehicles because I get the factory "low fluid" warning through the MDI, as opposed to an auxilary light/sensor. It also keeps the routing up in the front of the car. So many ways this could work, it's really up to you.

The washer fluid is much less than 50% unless you get the extreme cold (-50F) fluid - usually purple. Plus, I was advised that washer fluid usually contains additives that cause deposits to form.

Just spring for Boost juice or VP Racing M1.

From snowperformance.net:

"Windshield Washer fluid: Only if it is blue in color and rated for -20 deg F. It should have no special additives. This means it is safe to use and made of about 30% methanol, 70% water. If it is another color or another temperature rating, do not use it.
You can “spike” your Blue -20 Washer fluid to a 50% mixture by adding 3 12OZ yellow bottles of Heet® gas-line-antifreeze to every gallon of washer fluid."

I also agree with using the stock windshield washer tank. First for the stealth of it and second for the low level warning. Anyone know how much fluid the stock tank holds?

I'm using Snow Performance Boost Juice in my E46 setup; its 49% methanol, 51% water...

I've read some washer fluid reservoir use as meth tank fail. Pump place would be hard to balance seems.

Checked under space, seems too small for a pump+tank

Yup, the blue stuff we have here is not only the cheapest in price (no additives), it's also -35*C rated, which means it has the higher levels of methanol. I've used this stuff in street cars for years along side my longstanding tuning shop friends, and have never had issues whatsoever with the blend ratio itself. It's easy to find, cheap to buy, and as I mentioned, it's relatively stealth in terms of containing everything up front of the car. The factory low level warning is just a bonus

Stay far away from purple, yellow, pink, green, etc.. Basically if it isn't under $2.00 (USD that is) and doesn't have a light transparent blue tint to it, then stay away. It's a 51%/49% blend (the -35 stuff here), and the only reason it's blue is to keep people from drinking it, so it's just dye, really.

Many people have been skeptical of the washer juice including myself, but once I tried it on my BT A4, I never tried it any other way because the results were spot on.

Unfortunately I don't think the M235is have he room for it like the f30 does under the trunk. I like the idea of the washer fluid tank though. Very interesting

Is there any way the pump could just be located in a different spot with a line running too the washer fluid tank? Are there any cons to using wash fluid tank? If you remove the meth kit do you have a hole to plug?

Yea that's what I was getting at. You can usually mount the pump somewhere under the front rail(s) depending on what's currently there. Ideally, you'd mount it under the front rail on the same side as the washer fluid tank. You'd need to plug the tank or acquire a new one when you're ready to move on. The tanks themselves aren't usually pricey, it's the time to get it out that can be consuming, so to buy a new one later as opposed to plugging it wouldn't be out of the question... On the VAG car's I've had, they're relatively easy to get out, or you can pull the fender liner and gain access to modify it that way.

I haven't even began to look at the m235's tank configuration because I'm not at the point, yet. By summer time, I'll have a kit and a game plan for mine, and will share my experience with you guys.

In case anyone was wondering, this is what I ended up with, working great!

Once the fender liner is out you have easy access to the single bolt holding the tank in:

Drilled a hole which was a c-hair smaller than the tubing to allow for a tight fit:

Pump lives under my intake, bolted to the fender liner, worked out better than I thought

Not many options on where to put the tank. I removed the trunk tray on the right side and built a structure to hold the 1 gal BMS tank.

Yea, that was my thought as well. Then decided since I'm using the washer juice anyway, might as well double it up as my meth tank. Also retains the factory "low washer level" alarm, which is nice to have. Keeps everything up front, too..

Yeah, I found this to be a pretty stealth option. I mounted my tank a bit lower in the cubby. I still retain some functionality with the netting too.

I keep a bottle of quick detailer, glass cleaner, a couple bottles of heet and a microfiber towel tucked in there. With all that stuff you don't even see the tank.

Also don't mind my hideous paint job. I'll fix that at some point.

I did seriously think about that, as the alarm is a big nice to have. One issue that sucks in SoCal is that we have no -35 WW fluid. Anywhere. Everything is 32, which is basically water. So I'm stuck with getting Boost Juice $10 a gallon at Amazon or the hassle of driving a ways to get M1 at close to the same price.

I use heet for 100% meth. I just found that you can order a 24 pack on Amazon. With a subscription and the Amazon card I think it comes out to about $1.20 a bottle. Or roughly $12 a gallon.
