Bolt-on vs Custom made Downpipe
Hi
Anyone have advice of getting a bolt on vs custom made catless downpipe ? I have option of either and been told custom made one (which is cheaper option) is the way to go ... Thanks |

Custom is not always better. If it's a fab shop and you know they can weld a quality bead, that will last, then that could work. It's also good to know what material they'll be using. I'm just surprised they can offer one custom made cheaper than an off-the-shelf unit?

Used quality catless downpipes are available in the members classified section for very reasonable prices. VRSF makes a quality, fit tested piece for a great price brand new. I would look at something that is a proven part and bolt it up.

From a price perspective, it does not make sense to go with an unproven solution vs VRSF

You're going to have a hard time finding a custom downpipe for less than $249.99 shipped to your door.
