Short Shifter

Has anyone outfitted a short shifter?

The only aftermarket kit I can find is the UUC. Any thoughts?

I have one of these. It's right and short. Not quite as short as I'd have liked even after messing with the height but definitely feels tighter than stock.

That's great, I want to clean up some of the sloppiness. Do you still have the stock shift boot and shift knob?

I'm using the m performance one but the stock one will fit fine. The only complaint is that unlike the stock shifter that keeps the knob on straight the know sometimes twists here a bit. I've been told if you hit it with a mallet to really seat it in place it'll stay but I Havnt done that. Doesn't bother me much though just occasionally I twist it back to center.

I heard it actually makes shift times slightly longer so I held off on it.

If you want a simplistic short shifter, go with MP shift knob assembly. I absolutely love it.
