JB4 Board question.

I have a jb4 with a older harness I'm adding obd functionality too. It has this board.
Is this the EWG board and can I add obd to it by splicing with the can wires
Also can I cut the purple, blue and ground and power plugs and wires off?

That's the newest board so you are good to go.

Last question!

With that said, so once I add on the obd cable I can update to latest firmware? I have the USB as well.

Also can I cut the purple patch, blue patch and ground and power from the harness?

I posted on N54tech as well as searched for hours- I just want a solid answer before I go cutting wires

I believe at this point I'm okay to get rid of the purple patch and blue path as well as ground and power but I'm nervous leaving them off still..

Yes once you have OBD cable hooked up, you can upgrade to latest OBD FW.

Purple and blue plugs are for PWG so yes you can remove and as there's no 12v power lead to jb4 anymore, you can remove ground wire too.
