Am I running a bad tire size 245/35rear / 225/45fronts

I recently purchased a used 2019 m240i with 245/35 in the rear and 225/45 in the front. I was wondering if this is fine for the car.

That's one of two wheel and tire combinations with which our cars were delivered when new. So yes, it's perfectly fine and I think the more common set to find on an M240i.

The other combo, IIRC, is square at 18X7.5 and 225/45-18. I can't recall why there were two different sets, but other members here will know. I do know that a 225 rear tire is rather modest for a 6-cylinder BMW with over 300 horsepower.

STOP

245/35 and 225/40 are fine, but you write 225/45 making the diameter of the front tire way larger than the back tire
