"No line" question
Does anyone know if you order a "no lines" 228i with the Track Handling Pkg, do you still get the increased top speed limiter? Of academic interest in the US, but I plan to do Euro Delivery. As a rather large fellow, the sport seats don't agree with me, and I actually like the look of the car better without the Sport Package. Especially I hate the black headliner - feels like sitting in a coal mine. I realize they charge more for the Track Package without Sport or M-Sport.

You must order performance tires, not a/s, and make sure the high speed limiter code is selected on the order sheet.

Of COURSE I plan to go over 130mph in Germany, if the car will do it. Since an unlimited N52 328i will top 150mph on 230hp, I presume that a 228i will as well, with no limiter.

I assume that is a rhetorical statement ...
Because, yes, that should ALWAYS be the plan

Link to video on my Flikr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/10764510@N05/6087182774/[ This was between Stuttgart and Berlin in '11. 115mph-125mph or so. No big thing. We averaged 105mph between Stuttgart and Berlin, and got 25mpg at those speeds.
