Does Dinan make two different versions, one for the normal defuser, one for the performance defuser? Yours looks exactly like the MPE for the normal defuser, but on a car with the performance defuser.

Talked to the reps and warranty people. There is only one version. I should note that I am not extremely bothered by it.

According to this page there ARE two different versions, at least there was for the M235.

I don’t see why there wouldn’t be two different ones for the M240 also.

If you go to m240i product page, you will see one, and only one.

Honestly, I am fine with this. Only 1cm/half an inch from the end of diffuser. Worst case, just put a slip on onto the exhaust tips.

I went to RCTs Canada Inc. CalgaryBMW won't not sell it nor install for me because of BMW Canada's internal problem last year. Hour rate was $130. Installed stage 1 and exhaust for the m240i.

Hi! Have you tried playing with the clamp? Sometimes you can adjust a little bit and get the tips to stick out around 1/2 inch maybe a bit more.. nothing dramatic but maybe just enough to get the tips flush with the diffuser!

Have you tried looking at the tips once the exhaust is warmed up? The metal expansion maybe just enough to get you flush

Will probably try that when I install other mods such as mid-pipe. I am not extremely bothered by it at the moment.
