CEL Delete help

Hey guys, I have a 2016 M235i Xdrive currently running a MPE exhaust but want louder pops without a tune or piggyback.

I've been looking into VRSF catless downpipes but im aware a CEL will appear. Now, VRSF does offer to delete the CEL for an additional $99 but I was wondering if anyone got around to clearing a CEL without a tune.

I used a Bms can flap module for the CEL auto delete feature, I eventually got a JB4 so ended up selling it but worked perfect

only issue is Burger had to take the feature away on jb4 new firmware updates to make it 50 state legal you'd have to load an older firmware to get around it , Im not sure if can flap modules firmware was affected too, but if so I can find the old file from mine and send you it

PM me if you need help

I've been hearing catted O2 sensor adapters can help keep the CEL away but I don't know if anyone here has tried it.
