Yes, sometimes the dollar amount off is offset by higher rates, etc which make something not a good deal. However, in my case I'm a little smarter than that so I made sure I only paid the minimum rates with no markups. Therefore, my dollars off actually was not offset by anything else. Yes, Volvo has a good program, but at the end of the day, you end up with a Volvo. I have so many frequent flyer miles that I won't miss burning 60k of them for a trip to Munich. I don't understand what you mean by the stick and stones and source part so can't comment about that. Last edited by five3three; 02-20-2014 at 12:44 PM.. |

He had a 50300 msrp for 48300 which is still good composted to what some others have gotten. It was a stretch to say ALL options rather should have said most of the major options. I had a 50450 build offered for 47950 domestic or 45424 for ED. I had another dealer offer to beat any lowest price I had but he was a day too late. Me, I am happy to provide anyone the info so as to get a good deal just is an east coast dealer. |

Not sure if it's an east coast thing but around DC, there are 6 dealerships within 10-20 miles and even more further out in the suburbs so competition has to be fierce.

makes sense, but there's an exception, there are a lot of dealerships in CA too, however, there are too many rich ppl around them too (esp. Bay area), which makes them not willing to negotiate or to offer competitive pricing.
