M235i on the Nurburgring
Just got back for a European Delivery and had a chance to take my car out on the Nurburgring. I thought I would share some of the pics. The entire thread is over on the 2addicts ED forum.

There are numerous photographers stationed around the Ring. They sell their pics online for 7 to 10 euros a piece. It is very similar to the track photographers you find at track days at our local (US) tracks.

Very nice. Took my Avenger on there last year and loved it. Was definitely an experience. Wish it was a dry lap though. Plan on taking my 240 when it gets delivered. Perks of being stationed in Germany lol. Did you get a chance to go to Hockenheim?

This car was a fully race-prepped 911. The driver was wearing a race suit and helmet and had his own professional photographer and chase car. Our guess is that his sponsor, Cruz, was conducting a photo/video shoot of their product.
I passed this car at one point, but I think he was waiting for his partner in a red 911. Once they hooked up they blew right past me. |

Cool! Haven't you been in Prague? Because I have seen black M235i US spec on german month transport plates... Prague 5 in the way from Pilsen to Old town. I don't think there is too much US deliveries of black M235i :P

Our travels didn't take us to Prague. I will say that in 14 days I did not see one M235i and we drove through five countries. I did see a 2 series convertible at the Nurburgring (parked, not on track) and a 220d somewhere in Germany. Other than that, no 2 series coupes and definitely no M235i's.

Lots of 2 series on US posts, if service members can afford them they work great in their home environment

lol awesome. I'll be the one in the EB also with MP parts on it. Gonna get my color matched stuff from IND, but the rear spoiler and front splitter will be from bmw. Still trying to find the right set of 19s I want to go with to run 235/265 on without rubbing. Might get the Replica 437m wheels if they can shave the fronts 4mm like they do for the rears. Should be able to at least get 255s on the rear with that.
