No. Cheat Codes are built into E-Sys Launcher.

ID5 can have either ID5++ or ID6_lite skin.

How would I check which one I have? In the idrive settings somewhere?

You would know based on vintage or look.

ID5 has horizontal menus.

ID6 has animated flat tiles.

Yes, they are different skins on same base and adjusted via coding.

I have older version on my computer and now that I changed my 2014 2-series to 2018 3-series can I just update program or should I uninstall and install newest version?
If yes can I get links.

You should update Launcher and PSdZ. Update E-sys to 3.27.1 if you are using older version. Links.

Any head-unit functions are coded in HU_NBT(2). Use Launcher Cheat Codes.

I was coding a few things with bimmercode - number of blinks, drl brightness, etc., then somehow the left eyebrow was out. After fixing that, the turn signal never lights. I was using trial and error and reversed anything that didn't work, but I missed something.

It is possible it needs to be reinitialized with ISTA+.
