Coding has changed and is unknown for speeds above 63 kph. There are commercial solutions, using script activation or hardware.

Anyone changed seat temperature for 3 heated seats presets? I think I saw that option somewhere while coding....2 and 3 are both way too hot for my ass ))

You can change temps or you can also use three levels to be different heat distribution (ie areas of the seats).

Hi guys, I just bought my 2014 228i sportline a few weeks ago & just subscribed to the forum so i could post.

I had a 2003 e46 for 8.5 years (previously was steve.325i) and used PAsoft for coding. I never took it to this level ...

I am only on page 16 of 78 so far of this thread so i wont post any questions yet, but thank you Pikcachu et al for the cheat sheet, coding manuals, tips, etc.

I picked up a couple codes that I have added to my own version of your chart that I don't think you have on there yet and I have confirmed a couple others.

Disable Welcome gongs : ACSM 3000 Initialwarnung_GWF_IW, change aktiv to nicht_aktiv

Confirm that changing Acoustical lock confirm : HU_NBT 3000 ACOUSTICAL_LOCK_CONFIRM from aktiv to nicht_aktiv does silence it.

Disable 37F/3C outside temperate warning : KOMBI (i don't remember the #) CC_TEMPERATUR_WARNUNG - this one is reversed, you need to change nicht_aktiv to aktiv to silence it.

Sadly I spent money on Carly before finding your thread. I had to make my own cable because I ordered a cable on a thursday from amazon but i couldn't wait over the weekend. My winter tires don't have sensors and the TPM was driving me crazy. Now my FTM is active until I have my summers back on. If anyone is thinking about that one - I am in Canada and I had to pull fuse 132 as well.

I do have one question ... under dashboard, what is 'enable right logo'?

Setting to aktiv allows you to toggle alarm chirp ON/OFF from IDrive.

Is it possible to change the brightness of the interior lights (dome lights) ? When I enter the car in the dark, the interior lights are dimmed. Unfortunately I am very sensitive to PWM, meaning I see the flickering / switching on/off very well and it annoys me.
On daytime or when switching on with the button the dome lights have full brightness and do not flicker.

Another question: In a Carly manual I read about an option that when unlocking the car twice, the driver side window lowers when you open the door. Where can this be coded?

Yeah, Carly calls it 'Easy Entry'. I believe PA Soft used to call it Convenience opening on the e46. Carly page says it is coded in the FEM, but I don't know the exact entry.

It is the logo on the lower right part of the dash under the tach. On the 235 it defaults to M235 and is there all the time. One of the first thing I coded out.

In the m240i can the interior dome brightness be coded?
And what is coding to remove first chime fuel warning at 50mph (30 mph second chime ends up being the first warning)

normally this doesn't have to be coded. at least on ece cars you just have to acitvate the function "comfort opening" in the idrive settings menu (I think somewhere in the unlock or key section - where you can decide if only the driver door opens or all doors). with this activated the driver/passenger window will roll down about 2/3 when hitting the open button twice

Thanks for the info. Since i have a 228i (i guess) it is blank by default. Now I don't have to waste time trying the option.

Question: I replaced my FOG lights with Philips X-tremeVision LED Fog Lights and the though a bulb warning.

After removing 8S4 from my VO last night, I had to recode all the changes I made in FEM_BODY, but I wasn't able to find where to do this in E-Sys. I think it should be in section 3061, but I couldn't find any any post giving me the explicit item to modify.

I had to resort to using Carly to disable the check.

Requires HU_NBT2 with ID5 or ID6 as well as FSC Activation code. Coding alone will not enable.
