Folding mirrors

Why is it on the M240i that you can fold the mirrors from the armrest but not from the key fob. My dealer says on the 2 series you have to opt for electric seats to get folding mirrors via the fob

No consistency between models is so annoying. I had this on my X3 without electric seats

I don't think my mirrors fold from the fob. Also I didn't know you could get manual seats

I would never use my fob if it did. Key is usually in my pocket. Much easier to hit the button on the arm rest.

I coded my car so that the keyfob closes the windows, sunroof and turns up the mirrors. So instead of pushing 4 buttons you just push one. I don't always use it, but it works just fine.

you can control whether to close or not mirrors holding the button on the fob...

if you are outside the car, you can't use the button on the door

comfort access also closes mirrors and can do windows and sunroof as well.

i also think if you do it with button inside the car mirrors only unfold according to set speed , if you do it via fob or comfort access then they unfold after car is unlocked

Yes but if it's rainning and you are 40 feet away it's much easier to just hit the FOB
