Q: 228i Pre LCI Headlights Bi Xenon

I unfortunately have the halogen headlights and am looking to get the bixenons and was wondering is it plug and play? I'm not looking to get the adaptive headlights so I know there won't be any extra harnesses. If it isn't plug and play, will coding errors require much effort?

I didn't think that the Xenon headlight without the adaptive feature was on option. I have them on my 2014 and the right lamp adaptive feature bugs out and sticks. I have to source the control module from that side and replace it I guess. Very worth it IMO.

I don't mind buying it but the only thing stopping is coding the errors if there are any. I'm not comfortable coding my car only because I haven't had a need to even give it a shot since it's still in warranty

There are a few vendors in here that can do remote coding.
