M235i at BMW Welt (and more)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey there guys,
I've been to the Welt today to see how the M235i looks in person. And it really looks incredible, I can tell you!
The first "meeting" though, was on the Autobahn as we drove towards Munich. A white M235i overtook us:

So as we got to BMW Welt we went straight to the main attraction! Melbourne Red suits the car perfect IMO.
I think it makes it look a bit sportier than the white one, but tastes are different. And I have to say that you really can't capture the colour in pictures. It looks so much deeper in person! Here are a few shots.

Then we headed back to the center of Munich and what stopped at a red light (Sakhir Orange F80 M3)?!

[See Sakhir Orange F80 M3 Photos]

A Yas Marina Blue M4 was also driving by, but I couldn't take a pic. They sound awesome! Like a race engine!
There were also two X5M, a 4 Series Gran Coupe, a 2 Series Active Tourer and two i8 all in camouflage. So if you want to see some new cars, go to Munich!!

Great pics!

Quick question--what was your impression of the wheels on the M235? They don't appear as "dark" in these pictures, which I am guessing is because of the amount of light that is present in the Welt.

Great shots! Really does look nice in Red...but I'm still drawn to the Estoril Blue.

Question, anyone know if we can get those fins in the front bumper air ducts that the Euro models have? I actually like them in there! Not sure why the heck they removed them for the US market.

Mid grey is the best way to describe it, you can clearly see that they are way darker than "usually". I'd say in the one picture of the front wheel you can imagine it a bit.

They removed them for better cooling I think. But not sure. Maybe your dealer can order those Euro fins?

Hi-res photos and some more perspectives are coming, Jason will attach them.

Yes, at M-GmbH in Garching was a Black M235i, it makes the car look small and not so sporty IMO. But if you're looking for understatement, then it's definitelly the right choice.

Thanks for the pics, Perhaps next time you could bend your knees a bit? The pictures are very distorted by being from a high viewing angle.

The pictures aren't bad actually it's the lights that are the biggest issue at the Welt.

I'm sorry but the rear end of this car just looks terrible in every photo. Like a fat face (with skinny tires). I do like the door panel lines and the bottom aero of the front bumper though.

It was an auto.

They were winter tires, so they are not the standart size.

Yes, it really is an issue. As you can see, I bend me knees in most of the photos, but it is really hard to get the right lighting then..
