noise coming from front left suspension.

Hi guys. I have a 2015 bmw m235i xdrive. The car makes a noise like I’m driving on fresh fallen snow. Especially when I’m turning the wheel to the left, backing out of a parking lot, or driving into one. Does anybody know what could cause this issue? I have already changed the strut mount bearing and tightened the pinch bolt(as some people suggested). The car only makes the noise when it’s loaded( wheel on the ground). When I lift the car, the noise goes away. Would appreciate any advice.
Thanks.

Sounds like the same issue as https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=2088215 on the front page.

My symptoms are a little different than his. Mine still makes that noise in park, whereas his makes it only in drive or reverse. I also had someone turn the wheel while I held the cv axle to feel for the clunking, but I didn’t feel anything. You can’t hear the noise at all from outside, but you can hear it inside the car. Also you can feel it through the stearing wheel

Figured it out. It ended up being the plate under the motor(mounts to subframe) that wasn’t as tight as it could have been. There are about 8 bolts. Make sure they are all tight. Hopefully this will help someone.
