Ambient lighting on the M235i ?

Ok, I know that this is not the most essential feature of an M235i, but I didn't get to test it at the dealership, and was curious ...

Can any M235 owner testify about the ambient lighting package that comes standard ? It would be great if you could post pictures or videos !

Can the color and/or brightness and/or behavior (when they come on) be controlled via iDrive ?

Thanks !

Ambient lighting came with the premium package I think. You have options to set it at sport, classic and something else.

it just changes the color of the interior an exterior lights that come on when unlocking doors. White or Amber basically.

For example when you unlock your car form the fob lights come on under your door handles to show you were they are in the dark. You can change the colors from white (sport) to amber (classic).

Its not as crazy as in some higher end cars haha, like the mercedes cls with a line across the dash that lights up.

Incorrect

Ambient as in...interior surrounding lighting

It gives you that warm feeling if you're driving alone at night

In the 2, theres only a few lights...our toyota highlander has it all over the interior (blue lighting) feels like a night club

On my 2015 I believe the Ambient standard feature are
The door handle lights look great.
And the interior difference, all I can find are two little LED's that you control to illuminate white or orange.

There are also footwell lighting which don't seem to change color.

Classic is amber and sport is white

The lights are not that bright and you can set the brightness
