$1000 In Free BMW Parts From Dealer

My local BMW dealer is moving and they are having a sale, buy a car off the lot between 11/20 and 11/24 and get $1000 to spend on parts, accessories, lifestyle stuff. My M235 is a lease but since it's their money I figured it would be worth it to buy some stuff. I'm half feeling like I should buy $1000 worth of key chains to be the most annoying customer ever.

What would you buy with $1000 from them?

I guess the first question is what their bottom line is on the deal. If it's $1,000 more than without the swag, then you got nothin'.

Exactly! Sounds like they are just moving the money around. If you got yourself a really great deal elsewhere you would probably save yourself more than $1000 even with their $1,000 and their car.
All they are doing is moving the money around and catching you with gimmicks. It's all marketing.

Ask 'em if you can use the $1,000 towards lease payments.

It's only for parts and accessories. I think I might get winter tires from them, I'm in Boston so I know I'll need them.

Make sure you don't have to get the work done there and tell them to match Sun Motors BMW, or whatever, prices. On that budget you can do a performance exhaust, diffuser and squeeze in some black grilles for a couple bucks. These items would make your car stand out substantially among the few on the road. As other have said, however, if you negotiate a good deal you could have that much or more to spend on mods of your choosing (although i prefer OEM when possible). Enjoy the new car.
