Got it. Thanks for the tutorial. I'm now wondering how good (or bad) the decal alone will look without the rocker panel blade. Decisions, decisions... Like one of our fellow members called them, "first world problems". Put's things in perspective.

Estoril_F22, since you seem to be so adept at these explanations can I ask one more. Can you clarify what exactly the front splitter is and how it differs from the stock M235i front facia.

Personally, I don't like the front splitter versus the stock bumper. Plus I will probably rip it off coming up my driveway!

The front add on has a lower lip and the two black covers on each corner.

I would not get the decal without the additional blade, takes away from the rocker panel.

Is anyone else considering the BMW M Performance Electronic Steering Wheel? I've ordered the CF interior and trim etc and now I'm thinking the steering wheel is too cool to miss even with the $2000 price.

Thanks,
Mark

I plan on adding it later via the CCA discount instead of financing it

I am And you're right, it is too cool to pass up! Plus, you can monitor your oil temp through the LCD display and other important things when going to track days

This is my current wish list so far:

Z10 - Performance Exhaust
Z21 - Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers
Z2E - Electronic Steering wheel
Z2Q - CF & Alcantara trim
Z6Z - Carbon Center Console Cover
Z7A - LSD

I may have to take a few things away regarding pricing. Hopefully it all works out though

I don't like it. Sounds too raucous. The std exhaust sounds great for this car. Plus I prefer the black tips. I think I would go for the cf mirrors, steering wheel and lsd...and some different wheels.

Agreed - that exhaust has no deep tone, sounds like a ricer exhaust on a 4-banger.

MSRP at about 7-8k for all those, but that combination is going to be killer.
